Percentage Giving

"What percentage of my income is God calling me to give?" This is a new way of thinking about stewardship for us and is a very personal question. Each person's response may be different. Contemplate what God has provided for you through Tabernacle Church. Think about what Tabernacle does for others in the community. Prayerfully consider the answer to this question. Share your thoughts!

Did You Know...?

Together, we know more about Tabernacle Church than any one individual does. With help and some research, we came up with a list of "Did You Knows" to help guide Stewardship conversations. When you get your bright red envelope in the mail, take a look at them and let us know what you think. What were your reactions? Which one(s) surprised you? Which is closest to your own Passion? Greetings, members and friends of Tabernacle Church! Welcome to a new spin on Stewardship! We're conducting an experiment with current technology, to enhance what churches have done for centuries...build community.

We've started this Stewardship Blog to start conversations, share information & ideas, and build awareness and excitement about stewardship. Please add your posts, respond to others' posts, ask your questions, and share your thoughts. Add links to articles that have inspired or informed you.

Many of us are new at this and obviously this is uncharted territory. We're open to ideas about how to make it better, so please feel free to share.

Everyone comes to Stewardship from a different place. We hope this blog is a forum to help you examine and define your "place" a little more clearly and prayerfully.
